I give it a five because it’s a super nice park! Very clean and well kept. As far as camping you’re not in the wild. It’s definitely a park. Baseball fields are within eye shot of our camp site. If you have a dog there are stickers everywhere which seems common to the area. RV sites are close together, no fire ring probably because there is often a burn ban. Good WiFi and cell coverage. The park is about 3 miles out of Fredericksburg, close to many wineries, a 30 minute drive to Garrison Brothers Distillery.

Great spot for an overnight stay!

Sites are level. We were in a 32 foot motor home with a toad. Plenty of room.

Extremely clean and well kept. Gary was super accommodating. A little unconventional to make the initial reservation. I had to email. He responded promptly. I was then able to get him by phone and reserve a spot. All communication after that was by text. The campground is not far from the highway but back in a little corner of the community. Gary actually met us nearby after dark and guided us to our spot.

Excellent campground!

Extremely nice campground. Great for our one night stay. Grounds are clean, landscaped, the site was level. The shower room was clean and roomy. There are train tracks nearby but we didn’t really notice. A Cracker Barrel within a mile. I booked online then had to push the date back due to schedule changes. Called and left a message and someone called back within an hour and said our reservation had been moved to that date. Suggest you reserve ahead of time because I believe they are full every night.
