This historic place is beautiful. The staff is the BEST part because they are all so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our stay here was one of our favorite parts. After eating dinner at Jett’s Grill (which was delicious), we headed out to see Marfa’s lights. The little shops within the hotel have great items as well.
It’s only a few dollars to get in. I didn’t have high expectations at all, but we had the best time goofing off and taking pictures. My little guy really got into it and loved posing with all the staged aliens. In my opinion, this is a good time that can’t be left off the list of stops. Go to the museum and then walk half a block down to Alien Zone and have fun!
This is the most breath-taking and unique places I’ve ever been! I went with my 9 year old son, and we BOTH had so much fun sledding down the dunes. It’s the purest white as far as you can see in some areas. Powdery soft, not gritty. So so so much fun and beautiful.
Not sure why this roadside attraction is SO fun, but my son said this was one of his favorite stops on our roadtrip. Unique and colorful. Spray cans everywhere so you can add your own artwork. There is a small gift shop less than a mile down the service road that has some great items and a cool little display right outside.
