Did an overnight at this beautiful county park campground. Our only regret was that we wish we could have stayed longer.
Sites have 30/50amp service as well as water at each site. There are no dumps at the sites, however, there is a dump station as you exit the campground. The sites along the lake edge are in partial shade while the other sites are in complete sun. There are fire rings near each campsite. There is also a swim beach, laundry facilities, playground & more.
If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stop for the night or even longer, this is the place.

This is a wonderful lake with easy access to the lake front. The site itself was a bit sandy which made for challenges in leveling. You need to be careful that you don't get into soft sand as it might create a problem when your getting ready to leave. Site 1541 had no electric or water and no access to water, so bring your own. The campsites are nestled within a grove of cottonwood trees, so there was a lot of cotton blowing around, which makes it challenging eating outside. One more thing, while it's pretty much mosquito free, we were there during the Miller moth migration. So if you plan on camping in mid June to mid July expect to deal with the moths. Our site was about 100 yards from the lake front, but was an easy access. The lake is beautiful and the water is crystal clear.
We had 4 bars of 4G T-Mobile and was able to run an Amazon Fire Stick with no buffering.
One more thing, as of June 2020 there is a open fire ban, so no wood camp fires are permitted.
Overall, it's a good camp site for a couple of days.
