A little rough around the edges -- seems like many there are actually residents. Door to my room looked damaged from break-in and a feminine hygiene pad was taped over the peephole. Cool history all around, but I recommend walking with a dog or friend.

Perfect spot for a picnic or dogwalk. Large grassy field with restrooms & tables. Head for the sound beach via trailheads in the trees.

Beautiful locally-created/maintained trail system that lets average walkers stroll along a running clear creek, read placards about the historical importance of the creek in Buffalo's development, and a really nice place to walk a city dog.
