We stayed there for one night at site no. 10. It’s next to the highway, but it’s kind of ok. The campground is located next to a river which is perfect for fishing. They also offers guided fishing tours.

We stayed one night at spot 4 with elec hookup. It costs 30$. The service was ok. The campground is clean and the people were nice. There is a dump station available for 5$. Dry Camping costs 20$.

There it an airfield nearby, so if you don’t like the noise of little airplanes you might be in trouble over there.

I think it’s one of the best places to stay in anchorage with a RV. Good organized, nice people at the reception, private security is patrolling the place. Clean RV Park with really good restrooms and showers.

Nothing special to report. Only dry camping next to a lake. It’s a quiet place, no cellphone service available.

Stayed here for 2 nights. There are some sites at the southern part next to the river and some sites in the northern part with a nice view on the root glacier.

There is no dump station and there are no specific campsites. Just camp wherever you want to stay.

If you plan to go to kennicott, there are two shuttles. One is free the other costs 5$ per person and direction.

We ended up here by accident but we were surprised by an excellent campground.

The host helped us finding a good campsite and explained everything to us. The sites are very large and well separated from others. You can pay in cash or by credit card. The location is beautiful.

3x Dump Stations with Water; 1x Single Water

We stayed there for a night at an electric only RV site. We booked 1 hour prior arrival and everything was prepared. Helpful and friendly staff. The site is really quiet and there were maybe 10 other RVs.

We stayed on Site B24 at the Bear Loop. I could recommend this site to everyone who is looking for a quiet place. It’s only a little walk to the Store and Showers.
