First off let me say that we are not rv park people but are setup 100% to boondock so the idea of staying in a rv park while visiting family sounded like a welcome break. Showed up a little late and the super friendly guard station directed us to I 27 no sewer hookup the spot was about 6’ too short for us and was angled crazy on a hill that put our front end 6’ lower than the back. After talking to the office staff they moved us to H46 full hookup site for $6 less a night. The initial impression of the campground was that of something you might expect cousin Eddie to camp at in Vegas vacation. Facilities and bathrooms were very run down. Bathrooms had not been cared for at all. H row bathrooms had welded steel grates as stall doors and water was only Luke warm for showers. The evening after being moved to H row the power went out and no one informed us of any problem so the next day I asked the guard station and they informed us that we could get a room or purchase a generator, I let them know I have a generator and that if they filled our propane I would use that for power. Campground was out of propane so we filled at a nearby convenience store. The office insisted on giving reimbursement as a credit to a future stay and only after insisting we were never planning on coming back did they reimburse us after talking to the managers manager. Bottom line is if you like Boondocking and paying dearly for it this is the campground to stay at!! 1 star because the gate and store staff are super friendly.
