Room was old. Carpet looked like it had been in room since 1950.bathroom had garbage on floor. Tub/shower had cracks and chips. Bed was clean. Checked for bugs. Wish I had left after I walked in door, but was exhausted and didn’t want a fuss. In retrospect, I should have left. Chair in room had big stain on it. Curtains missing clip do it was droopy. What a disappointment. It was a gross experience.

I reserved room April 23, 2020 for one night. I received confirmation of booking that day for May 13,2020. In May 11, I received email asking if I wanted to confirm my reservation and I replied yes. May 13, I arrived at hotel with my husband. We found it locked up tighter than bark in tree. I called manager listed on letter of confirmation. She said she had no record of reservation, and that hotel had been closed since March 2020 due to virus covid 19. I’m angry I was not informed that the hotel was closed. Manager did recommended hotel next to hers. They were clean and very nice. We had traveled a long distance. This negligence is unacceptable.
