One of my favorite spots to visit! First time ever going was in March and the mountain still had snow on top of it so if you go during early spring bring a jacket! The GPS said we had arrived only halfway up the mountain but we just shut it off and kept driving until we finally came to the small parking area! The drive up was very secluded and beautiful and the view once you get to the top is absolutely breathtaking! Will definitely be going back and perhaps pitch a tent the next time.

If you’re wanting to get out of the house and see the beauty of nature without hiking hours, maybe wanting to take the kids to see what the Earth has to offer, this is definitely the drive for you! Beautiful views, my family will be driving again.
