We were sad to find the Cave Tours closed due to COVID, but the visitor center was open, so we were able to view photos of the caves and get a short talk about them from a very nice ranger! The gift shop has a good selection of national park and caved themed stuff; we were able to pick out a book of ranger stories and a lego bat for our niece!

Dated but clean and comfortable hotel. Convenient location near our family, as well as Garden of the Gods and other attractions, but the area was AWFUL to drive in with construction and closures, especially pulling a small trailer. Pool and gym were closed due to COVID, but it looks like they had an very nice patio/garden area between the breakfast area and pool for future visits.

Pleased to realize that this was RIGHT off the highway, since we had planned to stop but were in more of a rush by the time we got nearby. Fun to look at even just driving by on I-84, you get a great view from the road.

Even though we often book with La Quinta for their pet friendliness and rewards program, this particular location really impressed us!

Very nice, luxurious feel, updated rooms and hotel. Conference spaces available. Pool and hot tub open 24 hours (great for us night shift folk!). Plenty of parking for cars and a large gravel lot nearby for trucks/trailers. Friendly staff that got us a room quickly when we arrived at 0900 after driving all night.

Breakfast was grab-and-go because of COVID, with just coffee/juice/water and bagels or muffins. Sad when you’ve been on the road and would kill for eggs and waffles, but they’re doing their best.

Small for a truck stop, but relatively clean bathrooms, and the high point was a fun sitting area with waterfall, real plants, fake snake & trees in the center of the store! And of course perfectly placed stuffed animal snakes for sale right next to it.

What a fun stop! You can taste 87 different teas, tour the factory (including the mint room- awesome but not as strong as we were made to expect!) and shop their amazing selection of tea and gifts. Only downside was not much shade for the car and dog- would be nice if they had even a shaded area with water and leash holders or something!
