I love going to this little town. It is in FACT a ghost & mining town. This little place has been burned down at least 3 times. They have the historic gas station, train station and the Jail. Driving up to the murals, you do not need a 4 wheel drive, I have been here so many times and know from experience. I only had a problem one time when some of the dirt road was washed out. In that case I parked and walked up a quarter mile. Since then, I have no problems with driving all the way up in my car. I also like to hike around to the old silver mining area, found a few nugget there! If you go to this town, stopping off at Sheps (Yesterdays) to grab a burger is a MUST! The people in the town are very informative and very friendly! Every Saturday at high noon, they do a cowboy gun show, visit the theater (the old saloon) to learn more history about this little town and have some appreciation for it....
