We had a great time here. The mine was great, but shorter than I had expected - but the value for the price was great. We really enjoyed the knowledgeable staff at the blacksmith shop & stamp mill!
The tour was a fun adventure with the kids, but I think the adults enjoyed it more. The candy and ice cream samples were amazing!!
Unique hotel...doesn't move on the water at all, my husband was concerned about getting motion sick. Very neat rooms with very nice vintage bathrooms. There is a great area, Old Downtown Sacramento, with tons of shops and restaurants right in front of the boat.
We enjoyed the train ride...looked around ourselves, but we're too late to take the last tour. The ride didn't really show anything or go anywhere...but was fun.
Great mine, goes down 160 feet...lots of stairs. We enjoyed the tour, there are many times the tour stops do you can catch your breath.
Nice area...run by volunteers and donations. We had a couple that showed us the print room and all the equipment. Sine very nice pieces.
Had nice visit...my husband and soon had a great time.
It was a great retro hotel...lots of little things are done to be hospitable even though there are done expensive things that can't be fixed. We drove in at night and there were among of unsavory people walking. When we woke up, there was a dozen beer bottles behind our wigwam...think they were put that that night.
