Planned to stop here for some baked goods before heading through the North Cascades NP. Researching what to get, I only found politics and snarkiness. Sad,
As was mentioned elsewhere, steep and tight. I have a 26' Class A that is eight feet wide. Tight fit and don't try it in the dark. There were some easy sites, mine was tight. The electrical was located on a tree at the very front of the site - a bit difficult to reach. Firewood was $12/bundle, the resort itself was expensive and so was the pub. But, it's pretty isolated, so bring your stuff or pay the price.
Beautiful location. A lot of the sites were not level. We were lucky and fit nicely into a generous site with a 26' Class A and a tent.
What a great park. Visited for just one night in June 2016 with a 26' Class A and plan to go back. Best park on a round trip from Seattle to Carlsbad, CA. Very clean. Felt new. Not crowded and quiet. Only $22 incl. utilities - wow. I think we had water and electrical only ...or I should have looked a little harder for sewer.
Great place to stay. It was crowded, so reservations are advised. I would return. Traveling in a 26' Class A. Had no hook-ups myself.
OMG. It must have been timing. The campground is basically in a swamp. Our site was essentially a peninsula in the swamp. I had never seen so many mosquitoes before. We approached the camp host about moving to another site, but they did not exit their "sealed" 5th wheel. Plus we determined, that the mosquitoes were plenty there as well. We skipped out on our two-night reservation and went to the KOA instead.
