Not a bad place, the sites are a little small. There are not many level locations in the park either. However, it has a super big dog park, a couple of ponds to fish in, it is far off the highway so no road noise, and they have a number of amenities. Pickleball court is on the tennis court, but really just a stand-alone net without lines.

Well kept campground, and plenty of nice folks around! Sites are pretty large, but many are open and not tree covered. Easy parking, but no shade. It is on the water, so it does remain pretty windy at times, but you get the benefit of the nice cool Maine summers! It is only about 15 minutes to the Hull Cove visitors center at Acadia National Park. Cell coverage appears decent, but underlying infrastructure seems to be overwhelmed at times.

This is a pretty interesting TT, it is also a KOA. It is a very large and spread out campground, and TT is on one side of the county road while KOA is on the other side. The map is very confusing and some roads are incorrectly marked inside the campground. On the TT side, the sites are also confusing - many sites have 2 pull-ins with the electric box at the front of the site. You can pull in for a motorhome on one side, and back in on the other side for the trailers - basically means on many sites the sites next to you will not have anyone in them. We stayed in July-Aug 2020, and was very warm. Not too far from Newport, and maybe 45 minutes from Spokane. Cell signal was spotty here - AT&T and Verizon had 2 bars and Sprint had nothing. Needed to use a WeBoost and made AT&T work pretty well.

A little pricey and hard to get a booking for, but extra clean, every amenity you can think of, lots of space and privacy in sites. All around GREAT campground! Highly recommended
