Ok ur story is wrong the Craft didn’t crash, but landed and caught a bush probably a tumble weed on Fire the Sheriff was chasing a speeder and saw something come down and the fire and thought a Airplane had crashed so he went too
Investigate and when he got out of the car the Craft lifted and flew away so he checked the area found foot prints put out the fire and left returning to the station in Corona.
