The castle is very commercialized but this creates a great opportunity for children and teens to enjoy history. The birds of prey show was very interesting and the War of the Roses brought history to life. This is worth the trip if you are a fan of English History.
This is by far a must see. The coastal views are breathtaking. Lots of walking and lots of steps but the views for this area are worth the time. It's very peaceful and easy to imagine why there are so many myths of King Arthur attached to these ruins. The town of Tintagel is also worth visiting. It's a walk to get to the ruins but you can pay a small fee to take a Ranger Rover Ride which was worth the money.
When we visited the waterfall it hadn't rained in a very long time but the waterfall was still beautiful. It is a very long walk to get to the waterfall through forest area. It's hard to find the parking lot for the waterfall and very little to see but still beautiful.
This is one of the most beautiful and stunning places I've ever visited. The walk is straight up a hill but the scenery is worth the walk. Very quaint and peaceful village.
This is a beautiful home that will put you right in the middle of Downton Abbey. The land surrounding the house is beautiful and peaceful. The gift shop and cafe are a must. This isn't necessarily the best place for a young child but good for teens and up. Very crowded first thing in the morning but still great for a photo op.
