This is at a church and very preachy. Big Jesus Saves signs etc.
First, the food was amazing! We shared the Classic Seafood Gumbo, Jambalaya, and Shrimp and Mango Salad. The salad was perfect and fresh. The jambalaya was spicy and delicious. The gumbo was the star. It was simple and rich with a slow spice. Amazing! Now the service- we had been traveling for 12 hours and my family was exhausted. My four year old was fussy so I ordered to go and we waited outside. I noticed we could see into the kitchen so we waved at the chef. He was so friendly! He played up to the kids, pretending to get his towel stuck in the oven, making funny faces. He completely turned our night around. Eat here!!!
