The campground is incredibly nice with the only exception being some of the roads are a little skinny and narrow. Definitely want to take it slow and steady getting to your campground. Will need some wood to help get everything level but they have an entire trailer of wood for you to use.

The lake is beautiful and highly recommend the Duck boat tour that leaves from the campground over the tour from the park.

They have a shuttle bus to take you around which is also a very nice feature. Enjoyed the pool also as it is very well maintained.

We have stayed here twice while passing through. The couple that own the campgrounds are amazing people and incredibly friendly and helpful. The sites are plentiful with space and very easy to get in and out of.

The picture above must be old because the resort is so much nicer looking than this photos reveals. They have nicely stoned the whole resort and even used multiple colors of stone to line the different RV stalls. The pool is very clean and well kept. The resort also has a small cove all set up for docking boats if you happen to have one with you.

If you pay the extra money for a waterfront site you will not be disappointed. To wake up with the beautiful views of the waters just a few feet from the front on your motorhome is amazing.

Very close to many sites including the dolphin research center located right next door.

The kids loved feeding the Tarpon. For just a few bucks you can buy a bucket of food and walk out on the dock to feed the hundreds of Tarpon and other fish circling around. Break out your iPhone in time lapse mode and get some awesome video of the video jumping out of the water to grab a snack from your hands.

There is a market there with all kinds of little merchandise stands selling some really nice stuff. Also some cool artifacts that I think were from the old railroad and some treasures divers have found.

The food was very good and drinks were ice cold.
