Spent one week here on the way to Oregon. Loved the layout, nice big sites. Great bathroom and showers. Well maintained and clean! Great pressure and hot water. Epic vintage playground equipment. Amazing location-so close to lava hot springs natural hot pools and the city pool. Just minutes away by far and there's even a trail to walk from the campground to the pools.

Be aware that no sites have sewer.

Cons- It's positioned just right for the highway sounds to bounce off the mountain in front and behind the campground. So the road noise is noticable day and night.

This wasn't a big enough thing to loose a star for us. We loved our stay.

This is our favorite boondocking spot so far! We found a roomy spot off the main road. Easy to level spot with beautiful trees for our hammocks. Antelope in the field across the road! 20 minutes from Bryce Canyon NP.

We have a 30 foot airstream and there were several spots that could have worked for us. We did hear some road sounds and see other folks coming and going. But we like camping near other campers.

I do recommend stocking up before you come. The Rubys Inn area has a grocery store with a decent selection but definitely tourist spot prices.

Stunning view of Mount Princeton. Easy access to Buena Vista. Great combination of sun for solar and shade to keep us a little cooler.

When the road is dragged it is great. If not, it is washboard all the way.

We parked in the first spot close to the porter potties that was big enough for our 30 foot airstream trailer. Lots of mountain bikers. We enjoyed the activity but if you’re looking for solitude this spot might not be for you.

No turn around spot for big rigs after the spots by the porter potties. Don’t recommend going up the road farther than that.

Also-come prepared for mice! We had them come in half the nights we were here.

Stayed here the last full week in August. So quiet, easy pull through sites, easy access to the water. So many flat rocks to skip. Very simple site-well maintained gravel, easy to use utilities, plenty of space for chairs and cozy outdoor setup.

Booked the same day for a stopover on our way east. Simple booking over the phone, staff very kind and helpful. Peaceful, calm and cozy spot overlooking the water. Lots of trees.

Note! The entrance is a sharp and steep turn. Follow the staff directions not what most gps with give you and go left into the park!

Plenty of space for our 30 foot travel trailer. Saw bigger rigs there too.
