The comments about the city trying to remove it is untrue. The city commissioned this piece of art. Some residents of Denver are attempting to have it removed.
An interesting true fact about this horse is it killed its sculptor, Luis Jiménez. While working on the horse, a piece of the torso fell on Jiménez and severed an artery in his leg.
