On the way to Texas we stayed at Super 8 with my family for 2 nights. The hotel was nice and clean, the room was cozy with a working air conditioner and the beds were comfy too (i didn’t like the pillow, it was flat and we had only 1 per person). I have to say that there were many flies all over but I didn’t see any in the hotel. The breakfast was really nice too, with a juice machine, coffee, a waffle maker, cinnamon rolls, yogurt and white bread. The staff was helpful and friendly. I heard people complaining about the noise of the train but we didn't hear a thing. The price was ok too, it’s not a place to stay for a vacation, but for 2-3 nights of rest i recommend it.

When we arrived at La Quinta Inn we weren’t expecting to find such a nice hotel at Dalhart, Texas. We were very impressed by the lobby’s decoration, and the friendly staff. The swimming pool was also great. The rooms are very large and neat and the beds really comfy. Breakfast was also a surprise, it was very tasty but limited. On the other hand the prices were higher than we expected for a small town but kinda worth it. If I decide to visit Dalhart again thats the place I’ll choose to stay at.

I spent three nights at The Rodeway Inn with my husband and daughter and it was really nice. The furniture and the building were old but everything was squeaky clean. The breakfast was nice too, except for the coffee, it didn’t impress me, also the staff was very helpfull and kind to us. The most impressive thing was that the room contains almost everything, a fridge, cable tv (with really nice channel choices), a coffee maker, a microwave and of course free WiFi (with poor signal in our room). Before we got there I had read many complains about a bad smell outside that comes from the sourgum growing in the area, but we didn’t smell anything bad. I’d like to visit The Rodeway Inn again and I recomend it for you too.
