If you can’t make it to Amarillo and you have to spend the night in Vega (in the middle of nowhere) the choices are limited. The Days Inn was nice with a very helpful and kind staff, the check in was very easy and the price very reasonable. We had a pet friendly room and it was very clean with a comfy bed and a tv with great channel selections and properly working air conditioning. The breakfast wasn’t impressive but fresh with typical motel food choices. If i have to spend the night in Vega, Days Inn will probably be the place i’ll stay at.
Me and family arrived late at night at Sleep Inn, we had a hard time finding the hotel. When we arrived the staff was courteous and helpful and the receptionist checked us in within minutes. Our room was very big, clean and neat, we slept peacefully on their very comfortable beds. The breakfast was continental, we ate waffles and bagels, that were very fresh and tasty, there is an Outback restaurant next door you should try. There is also a parking lot to leave your car safe till you leave. I’d like to stay at this hotel again and i recommend it to you too.
My husband, daughter and I spent 3 days at the Quality Inn and Suites in Lubbock, it was a pleasant experience. The whole hotel and rooms are nicely decorated and the location is great. The staff was very friendly and kind. Our room was big with a comfortable bed and a very clean bathroom. The free WiFi had a strong signal throughout the premises. The hotel also provides free parking and a delicious breakfast. You might hear some traffic at night but not enough to mess with your sleep. It is a nice place to spend a night or couple more, I recommend it.
Motor Inns of America was the hotel I chose to spend the night with my husband. It is a kind of old hotel, but very decent and low priced. Its location is great, on the Marsha Sharp freeway and close to everything within a five-minute drive. The manager and his wife that run the hotel are very kind and helpful people. Our room was very clean, with a nice bed to sleep comfortably. a refrigerator, a microwave and cable TV. The hotel also provides a seasonal outdoor pool that we didn’t get to try. If you are looking for a place to spend the night at a clean and affordable hotel, then this is a place to try.
We stayed at the Studio 6 in Lubbock with my family for 3 days to relax. The hotel has its own parking lot and a laundry room. It is not a very impressive hotel but it is a great deal considering the low price. The staff was very friendly and did everything they could to make us feel like home. Our room was very clean, we had a comfortable king sized bed, a microwave and a fridge. Its location is very convenient, close to everything but quiet enough. If you are looking for a clean and nice place to spend a few nights for a low cost, then that is the hotel for you.
We visited Hawthorn Suites in Lubbock some years ago with my husband to spend some days of rest before hitting the road again. We were really impressed by how nicely the whole hotel was decorated and by how friendly and kind the staff was. In the hotel there is a very nice lounge, a fitness centre, an indoor heated swimming pool and a spa. Our room was great, very spacious, super clean with a comfortable bed and a small kitchen area. The hotels location is very close to the stadium and many other places to grab a bite or get a drink. I will definitely visit this hotel again and I highly recommend it to anyone passing by Lubbock.
La Quinta Inn & Suites in Lubbock was our choice to spend 5 days of rest with my family to relax from our roadtrip. When we arrived at the location we had a little trouble finding the hotel, because the area around wasn’t well lighten. We had our dog with us so we booked a pet friendly room. The staff was very kind and friendly. The room was very clean, even for a pet friendly one, and everything was nicely decorated. The hotel also provides a swimming pool, a spa so you can relax even more and a fitness center, all clean and updated. I highly recommend this hotel and I am going to visit again.
My family and I spent 3 nights at Baymont Inn and Suites in Lubbock and we had a nice experience. It is a hotel that provides everything you might need even for a long stay. The parking lot is kinda small but your car is safe there. The receptionist was very kind and checked us in and out within minutes each time. Our room was great, with a microwave and a refrigerator, so you can cook there, it had a very clean bathroom and a very comfortable bed and pillows, I really liked the decoration too. The hotel also provides free WiFi internet and rides to the airport all day long, it also has a pool and a gym area. The breakfast was continental, with freshly made food every day. I’d like to visit this Baymont Inn again and I recommend you should too.
Woodrow House Bed & Breakfast was our choice to spend the night while passing through Lubbock with my family. It’s location is very convenient, it is close to the Texas Tech University, but it is on a very busy road which makes it kind of noisy. The hotel provides earplugs within each room so you can have an undisturbed sleep. The hotel also provides an outdoor swimming pool and a lounge area. The staff was very helpful and kind. Our room was great, nicely decorated, very clean and the bed was very comfortable and soft. The breakfast was also great, delicious and freshly made, you should try the sweet potato pancakes. I would like to visit this hotel again and I highly recommend it.
I spent the night at the Staybridge Suites in Lubbock with my hubby last year and we had a really nice day. Our room was huge and squeaky clean with a comfortable bed, a kitchen and living room area, each with its own A/C. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was freshly made and delicious, the hotel also provides a happy hour. Me and my husband enjoyed our stay very much even if it was only for one night. I highly recommend this hotel.
