We arrived the campground and were asked to call at the main entrance….. kindly was received by one of the staff whom I followed his golf cart to direct me to my siteNo 6… and Since we book the last minute; as to being in Florida.. everything is booked; we decided to test our newest fifth wheel.

We only had 33 night on a shaded by smaller size site and was surprised when Chris one of the girls at office, which knew we wanted to stay more days informed of a bigger campsite with also Full Hook ups and a Big Rig size. This was best decision we did moving 2nd day we arrived.

This is a smaller Rv Campground with great Rver’s that makes you feel like family. This campground has an amazing River for those whom love to fish, a great board walk, and a huge fire pit community shared. This is mostly a very natural preserve area if you love to enjoy birds, owls and just chill out after going fishing, biking and hiking. It has its own store with ice, fire logs and rentals for kayaking, paddle boats. Also has its own floating dock for your boat. Not much activities doe children unless they love outdoors.

Great staff, well kept greens and overall sites.

Be aware that there are Full hook ups, electric water only sites and tents grounds also.. They have a dog area and the grounds are so Well kept.. the County came in our first 3 days to fog for mosquitoes population, also the river is being sprayed for (Hydrilla weed). Garbage is picked also by county and this place is very peaceful after 8:00 pm quiet times.

Lots of thing to do around. We also came with our bikes and went to 3 of the parks nearby. Lots of places to have a brunch and the community around is very clean and quiet. Some airboats around the river but not on night times; at least on my 7 night stay.

I will be arranging next year’s reservation trying to be a little closer to the river. Thank you very much for making it possible for more days… the move spot was worth it.

Getting ready to say goodbye to this amazing private small park after 5 weeks doing all we wanted at Key West & surroundings.

This is a Big Ring/ or small campers spot for those whom prefer not much in/out traffic with whole lot of peace and privacy. Mrs Fiona is such an amazing host, always willing to help you as you need her.

This Rv Resort is soooo close to Key West; just 6 miles aprox we did , scooter, bike, kayak and cover much all this island and Key West. Close to so many great restaurants and safety is so great. The communities around the park are not a complain as noise wise seems to be in control.

We had no issues at our stay. Even the military base which we had some doubts it would be bad noise wise waits till later morning hours to excersise and when they do so.. which it wasnt every day (in our 5 weeks stay) its just fun to watch them.

El Mar Rv Resort is the place to be if your looking to discover all Key West and ither close keys have to offer. Horseshoe Beach, 7 Miles bridge, Veterans Memorial park, Deer preservation, Tropical forest Gardens and much more. Had si much fun.. Coming back on 2023 in the plans of the Lord.

This was our first campground as RV owners and the Advice was to stay in a close location to try our RV. We couldn’t have made a better decision. Found a spot on week of February 4 and stay for 3 nights. Which we could have had a week to enjoy al the activities around. Although the bathrooms of the RV site are under constructions but very advanced they had a facilities with portable ones and showers. They have great private areas for Big rigs as well as the standard small ones with water and electric hook ups 39/50. Most spot has back privacy nature views as well as sides. A picnic table as well as fire rings well maintained and clean. The volunteers at this Campground are very friendly and willing to help. We rented the canoe and you can also rent bikes. The Little Manatee River Park is very good for camping as well to enjoy fishing or nature sightseeing. There were turtles along our way and didn’t got to experience a gator which has warnings signs. Cold weather and gators are not likable so for us was ok as well. They have a huge spot for family campgrounds and rental of pavilions just next to the river view very big for birthdays. They also have Amphitheater at location and lots of bike trails. There is also an equestrian area very nice and spacious for horse lovers and lots of horse trials for your personal horses. Hopefully this will not be our last visit since this park has so much to offer in a very quiet and well maintain and updating overall facilities. Loved it
