$5.25 for three pancakes, sausage, and coffee. Quite a deal. Fri-Sun only. Tremendously well organized, great people, beautiful site. Family oriented and looks like fun if you travel with kids. Would like to spend a couple of days and tootle around the area.

Enjoyed our evening there. Easy access, got propane. We forgot our surge protector but they held on to it til they got our mailing address. Friendly folks, really helpful and the items we had forgotten not over priced.

A really nice spot right off the freeway and surprising service. Make a reservation online or ask for the web pricing. It’s a little bit lower than the $40 rack rate. The sites are clean and level, not a whole lot of shade (better in the winter than in the summer because this area gets really hot). Full services. The 30 amp was not emitting any juice so I used my 50 amp converter. But one of the niftiest amenities is that they have an auto texting system that connects you directly with a service representative when you check in. I texted about the 30 amp and they texted that they could get facilities on site within a few minutes if I needed it. I’ll let them know that I was using the 50A converter and it wasn’t necessary. Never had a texting concierge before.
The downside: they are doing some thing with construction going on virtually 24 hours a day near the site. It’s not entirely terribly loud it is somewhat annoying late at night or early in the morning. All said we certainly would stay again.

Caution: Be certain that you are booking the correct Chestnut Ridge campground. Jump from Campendium and make the call directly to this campsite. Do not search for it on the web. You’ll end up in West Virginia!
That being said, they were very accommodating and found a site for us for one night. Water and electricity for $37. Decent enough. Site was at a slight angle but easy enough to level out. Nice grassy site. Being a warm, humid September day, there are plenty of bugs which we’re not that accustomed to from Oregon.
The bath house and bathroom is a throwback from another era. Very odd shower and shower area, and the sink to wash your hands is in the back of the restroom while the urinals and toilets are in the front. Very strange layout and they need serious attention. Many of the rigs in here or permanent or semi-permanent structures. Probably more weekend RVers from the area than traveling-across-the-country folk like us. Some train noise, some factory noise in the background. Nothing overbearing. An OK spot for the night.

The sites they rent out a nightly basis are concrete pads out front. The trees are planted in the last year or two and have a long ways to go before they cast any shade. Better stop in January than in July. There are some longer-term stays that are under permanent covers. Called on a whim while driving down I five. The rate of 45 is if you have good Sam or AAA, otherwise you get direct rate of 50. Full hook up and that’s great. Able to get some water and then head on out the next morning.
It’s a relatively busy road and there’s lots of trucks. And there is the occasional requisite train. All in all easy access and a place to lay your head for the night.
The bathroom is a little questionable. Well clean, there’s no soap dispenser at the sink. Very odd. One of the two toilets was out of order. The showers seem to be adequate. Test those out later.

Fantastic view. Can’t beat it. But they only have electric. No sewage, dumping, or water. So far mostly dry camping without a generator, it’s great. Just make sure you have water.

We weren’t told that there was no water here until we arrived. Unfortunately we had enough water to last us for an evening. A beautiful view of Devil’s Tower, but the glaring yard lights blocked out anything that we could’ve seen of the Milky Way. For the price, go on down to the KOA. But be sure to make reservations because the KOA fills up.

Good spot tho’ glad I had Google guiding me. The intersection and road names were a bit confusing and nearly ended back on the freeway! Clean and no problems.

Great facility, excellent Wi-Fi and cell reception. Nice grounds, lots of trees. Very expensive! Would not stay here at that price again, but even $50 it would probably be worth it.

A good spot to land on a long drive but dry camping only and don’t go outside in warm weather without mosquito netting! Holy cow. Some of those boogers continued on our journey for the next three days. We were fighting them in the cab for a while! Small and blood thirsty. Lots of freeway noise. Pit toilets, just the basics.
