We loved staying at Yonder! The outdoor showers and bath houses were amazing. The pool, hot tub, drive in movie theatre and morning coffee made for a luxury camping experience. Staff was very nice, sites a little slower together but we were there in November so it wasn’t crowded so wasn’t an issue and we met many nice neighbors. Will definitely be back!

We booked a non hookup site since we were just passing through for the night. When we arrived the front desk was slammed. The woman working said just park at the end of the very busy parking lot. Apparently the hookup sites are in the lot across the street that looked nice but the non hookup sites are just in the winery/golf course parking lot. I asked if we could upgrade spots and she seemed offended. The next morning we went to dump at the state park next door, we will definitely stay there next time. On a positive note, the wine and food at the restaurant in the golf clubhouse/winery was actually pretty good, I would eat/drink there again.

We visited in May and the weather was beautiful. The campground is convenient to the town of Page, the lake and horseshoe bend. Sites are level, campground was quiet and had a small store on site for any last minute necessities. Picnic tables and fire pits are at each site. I was a little nervous about not being able to pick our site but we ended up in a great site farther back but big enough up that we could see the lake in the distance. Would definitely stay here again!

We love staying at Dead Horse. We have stayed in both the Wingate and Kayenta loops and have visited in both August and November. I think Kayenta is more quaint, tighter spots but closer to the rim and wingate is more open with larger more level sites. There is no water anywhere remotely close so be prepared but they do have bathrooms and a dish washing station which is helpful. It is a bit of a drive into town and over to Arches but having partial hookups in this beautiful setting is worth the drive for us. Very convenient to Canyonlands and of course dead horse is worth a day of hiking and sunset watching in itself!

As others have stated this RV park is basically a parking lot where you have a small strip of grass between sites. That being said, it is the closest location to Sun Valley with full hookups. We visited in April for some late season skiing and it was perfect for what we needed. It wouldn’t be my fist choice in summer but it was not crowded in Spring, was quiet and super convenient to town and the ski resort.

This is not somewhere I would go as a destination camping spot but nice stopover off I-80. The campground puts a sign on the window of the office after hours with a list of open sites. The majority of spots appeared to be taken by long term stays. Sites are close together with full hookups. Propane available on site for refill. Staff was very nice and campground was quiet on a Saturday night. We would definitely stop here again for a night while passing through.

We stayed at the end of September and the weather and views were perfect. Sites are first come first serve. Loop A was closed but the camp hosts offered to open it up if needed. The camp host mentioned their favorite spots are 23 and 27 but we really enjoyed site 16. There are double spots available, bathrooms and water stations for drinking water. We have a 19ft trailer and 16ft tow vehicle and made it up the mountain and into the spots no problem but this campground is not ideal for large rigs. There was a large amount of traffic on Saturday all day and night for people coming to see the amazing views but most other times were quiet. Picnic tables and fire rings at all sites. Beautiful spot that we can’t wait to come back to!

We stopped here hoping to try something different than the RV parks along I-80 driving between UT and CA. It was the end of August and I know camping includes bugs but the bugs were so bad I don’t think I could have sat outside at all, fine for not unhooking passing through but not enjoyable for full camping experience. One thing to note is that we followed the Campendium directions and it lead us to the far side of the lake. The dump station and what appeared to be the hookup sites are actually at the first main entrance as you come in.

We stayed in a full hookup site at the pleasure cove marina campground. The full hookup sites were at the very back located on the road, basic parking spots close together and very challenging to level. If your primary purpose is to be out on lake berryesa I would say this is a good location. It was about 40 minutes in either direction to a cell signal or any services at all. The road in is narrow and bumpy but manageable. They close the gate at night and change the hours so be sure to confirm with them prior to arrival.

We stayed in the Peninsula campground in site 23. It was a pull through site with partial hookups. Plenty of privacy within a short walk of the lake. Beach use is closer to the RV campground but there is a nice trail and lake views a short walk away. Sites have nice picnic tables, fire rings and plenty of shade. Dump station was easy to access, we never saw a camp host but we did not have any issues with noise. The staff at check in was very nice offering local tips and hiking guidance. We definitely hope to make it back in the future, great little lake town with plenty to do!
