A lot of unexpected amenities at the office like pool tables and arcade games. There were a lot of squirrels, Muscovy ducks, and turtles. We even saw the resident Bald Eagle several times circling the lake. We never saw the resident gator, Lola, but were assured she was around. 🤔 Most sites have a great view of the water although some are a bit unlevel front to back, but not unmanageabley so. We would have stayed a day or two longer if they’d had an opening.
Visit the Mississippi Armed Forces Museum just a couple of miles away if you can. Very good collection of well maintained military vehicles.

Very well maintained campground. The staff was very pleasant and the grounds are regularly patrolled. No highway noise, no trains, just the occasional boat on the lake and the occasional B-52 bomber from Barksdale AFB. Actually, I liked the bomber. 😁
