Stayed for a Friday and Saturday night with granddaughters. Temps in the 60's but the girls enjoyed the water park anyway. Site 17 was right across from the pool(s). Level side to side but could only get 1-2 inches of level front to back. Sites are crowded together and access roads very tight. They didn't waste any space in this campground. A lot of people weren't taking social distancing or mask wearing seriously (masks were required in the camp store though) Very nice water park, jumping pads, store, mini golf etc. Everything seemed clean. Lots of golf carts. Rules say absolutely no personal carts but there were plenty. This place is within 1 1/2 hours of home so I would return but only with kids. Not much of an adult place.

Nice place with larger sites. Some are wooded and some are out n the field. Seems like most sites have 30 amp and water. some sites have sewer but it seemed like most of those were taken by seasonals. we had water and electric for $50 a night because it was NASCAR (Dover) weekend. Usual price would be $40. Dump station worked fine. Campground is 5 minutes away from Harrington Casino/ State Fairgrounds. Less than an hour from Rehobeth Beach and 30 mins from Dover. Sites are hard packed dirt or grass. Swimming pool (not open for the season yet. Numerous pavilions and an Activity center. Small camp store but I didn't visit. There are major grocery stores within 15 mins. Overall liked it and I'll stay there again.

Picked this place mostly for tubing on the creek. That didn't work out because of creek level and algae. Granddaughter and her cousin enjoyed the bouncing pillow though.(And the pre-teen social life). My wife and I went to a nice bingo game in the pavillion.
Very crowded and a lot of golf cart traffic (constant golf cart traffic). Our site,509, had more room than most and a great view of 250 lb women in bikinis playing corn hole. We had full hook-ups with cable TV (about 9 channels)
Nice location on Penns Creek and we did see some wildlife. Wasn't horrible since the kids had a good time but I'd prefer a place with less seasonal and traffic.
We were across from some Holiday Rambler Class A's so it is definately big rig friendly.

We stayed at the Chester loop with electric only. No pets. The pedestal had 20,30 & 50 amp service. Washrooms were very clean and modern. Outdoors dishwashing area behind the washroom. Sites are kinda close together and some wouldn't have fit our 28 ft travel trailer. Some sites would have been hard to maneuver into also. I had to run my front wheel over a 5" tall tree stump to get into site 226.

There were some nice cabins in our loop also with bunks, a bed and AC. Outside cooking area.

The Northeast loop has full hookups with pets allowed. We saw some big rigs there and some pull-thru sites too. Not all sites would be accessible to larger units though.

The Camp store wasn't open (because of Covid), but ice and firewood were available on honor system. The park is located on the Elk River. Nice setting except that constant noise of go-fast boats all day and all evening. Maybe because it was the 4th of July. Like being next to a drag strip.

Nice hike to Turkey Point lighthouse but you have to drive a couple of miles to get there. Other trails in the camping area but we didn't try any.

Stayed Thursday ($49) Friday & Saturday ($64). Site A06 backs up to the Potomac River. Within 1" of level side to side. Kinda crowded but we had adequate space. Electric and city water. The campground is right on the C&O Canal which is a bike/hiking path. Canoe, kayak, tube and bicycle rentals in the campground. Also right next to a CSX rail yard which excited me. Plenty of train watching. Within 30 mins of Harpers Ferry and also numerous breweries and wineries in the area. Campground has a nice playground and the river is very shallow for wading. Small camp store. Only one dump station but we only had 1 trailer ahead of us. Nothing fancy but we'll definitely go back in the future.

Loop A is very tight. Not sure if anything longer than our 25 footer would make it past the overhanging tree. Level site. Fly trap hanging in nearby tree kept wafting the smell of rotten crabs. Water park was very crowded. Beware if you have jewelry that you can’t remove you can’t use the slides. No exceptions. 30 amp and water. Inexpensive. Very shaded sites. Hiking. Antenna TV stations available along with phone tethering. Less than an hour from the beach ( traffic not withstanding)
