We came here because it is close to family and doctors. They do not do daily rentals only weekly, monthly, or seasonally, We opted with the seasonal because the DW needed a neck fusion and we needed time to recoup. Most of the lots here are privately owned. We ended up buying one because we got a deal that was too good to pass up.
This campground has 2 pool, 2 laundry rooms, an ice cream stand, a pizza & sub shop, and a small store. They have a nice fishing pond and activities every weekend. The people in the office are os friendly and warm. All of our neighbors have been great to be around, we have made some very good friends that we are going to meet up this winter.

We stayed at Lobster Buoy Campgrounds in July 2017 and I can say to us this was a hidden gem. It was by far the quietest campground we have stated in. We were just steps from them ocean. It is a smaller family owned and operated that some rules that someone going there would need to know 1st is they do not allow you to run air conditioning or generators, but with the ocean breeze we found that we didn’t need it at all. We had 15 amp electric and water. We needed the extension cord to reach the pedestal. The sites were not the most level that have seen but we were able to get level. They believe in old time camping where people need to entertain themselves. They do have their own beach that you can fish or kayak from. The other campers were mostly people that come back year after year but everyone so so friendly they made us feel like we knew them for a long time.

We were here for Memorial Day weekend and it was packed as is every place. There is good separation between sites. It is a very woodsy campground that is a short walk to Lake Ontario.

We have been having a very wet spring so the site we had was quite swamped. We wee hoping that it would dry out but that never happened.

Cell service is just about non existent even with my booster.
