Right at the entrance to the trails into Pinnacles National park. This is a great base campground, limited RV/TT electric sites but great for dry camping experience. Small travel trailer/ under 24 feet RV's and vans and tent sites are the majority of the sites. Well stock general store, ice and wood. Ranger's on hand with resource store. Nothing fancy about this campground but covers the basics and worth getting into to explore the pinnacles. Probably VERY hot in the summer.

Across the street from the bay, a couple minutes drive to quaint downtown area and beach, and hiking right out of the campground. This state park is just the basics, dry camping except for a handful of electric sites but roomy, well maintained bathrooms and showers. Very safe and family atmosphere, Dog friendly, bike friendly. Great vacation base for Pismo and Cambria also as they are just a quick 30 mins away. No National Park Lifetime senior pass discount..FYI

Skyline park is a huge county park best served for those traveling through and need an easy overnight close to Interstate 80 just 25 miles from Oakland or Sacramento. It is also a great spot to drop your trailer and visit the wine country region. It has lots on hiking/biking trails, accommodates traveling with horses as it has horse camp sites and 2 arenas and facilities. as well as riding trails. it also has archery, disc golf course and day use picnic areas. I would not select this location if you were looking for a fabulous camping in the wood experience because frankly your are right in the city of Napa. I did not consider it dangerous, as it has a 24/7 host on site and a gate that is locked after 7 pm.
