Under knew ownership (formerly Road Runner) this place is great for an overnight stop for us. While there are full-timers here the entire campground is neat and tidy. All spots are pull-through. We were also given a gift bag of goodies when we checked in! Very nice of them. The pool and clubhouse are immaculate. Laundry and bathrooms are very clean.

We stopped here with a 23 ‘ TT for an overnight stop. Sites and roads are gravel. Well kept and clean. Owner is very nice and stopped by our site to greet us. The CG is next to a pretty cornfield and the sunset was pretty. This place also borders a fish and wildlife area. Very quiet.

This is a simple, clean, small campground with pull-through sites. Easy in and out. Sites are gravel and level. We are in a travel trailer but it can easily accept big rigs. Full hook ups. There is green grass for pets, which is a rare find out here! We were very happy to find this gem and will certainly stay again. Wifi was great.

This remote gem is well worth it. Lots of history to experience. We enjoyed walking through the old buildings, water wheel, cemetery, battlements, and seeing the old submarine. The upper campground has a steep hill but the sites are more spacious. We came in after hours so they gave us a code to get in the gate. Very few folks here so very quiet and peaceful. We have seen lots of deer. It was an overnight stop for us but will come back. Our site was level and we did not unhook. Cell service is sketchy.

Great overnight stop. The “D” sites are all brand new and wonderful. There are two sewer hookups per site in these new spots so very convenient for whatever configuration your RV needs.
That staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Entire campground was neat and tidy as were the facilities. Nice pool.

Traveling back north from Florida in a travel trailer. We stopped here based on reviews. It really is great for an overnight stop and has a very nice registration office. Sites are concrete but concrete is very narrow. (No patio other than dirt. Not much grass, mostly dirt between sites but there is a nice size grassy area for dogs. Spanish moss in the trees is beautiful. If raining, this would be a little muddy . Most sites are pull through. No cable but at least 10 over the air channels. It is near the interstate but noise is not bad.

Easy stopover for one night. Most sights are pull thru. Easy in/out. Gravel sites. Very nice dog park. Good Japanese restaurant across the street. Walmart and Tractor Supply close by. Safe and quiet area.

A pretty entrance but quickly Deteriorates into one of the worst campgrounds we ever stayed in. Most of the lots are occupied by permanent residents who do not maintain their sites. Ours was overgrown with crabgrass, which even grew in the fire pit. The roads are dirt with some gravel and are in dire need of regrading. Many huge pot holes. Everyone drives around, constantly, in loud gas powered golf carts that we could hear inside our camper with the A/C on! Quiet hours are listed as starting at MIDNIGHT. If you have an option, don’t stay here!

This is a pretty little campground! We were very pleased with the overall look and feel of this cute place. Very well maintained and safe. Good spacing between sites and plenty of nicely mowed grass.
The sites are all pull through and altho they are gravel, ours was level. The office is nice and managers are friendly. They are doing their best to keep customers safe and are practicing CDC pandemic guidelines. There are plenty of places to walk dogs and all grassy areas are clean. There is a Cracker Barrel near by. We would definitely camp here again.

We came down to enjoy some warmer weather and were impressed with this campground. There really are no “bad” spots and we are on a huge lake. Spacing is good. Sites are gravel/grass. Beautiful, clean city park adjacent with a nice walking trail. People are friendly. We have seen two bald eagles thus far! Its very clean and has a small marina attached. Did not use facilities due to covid. City access is good. I would give it 5 stars if they had concrete pads.
