A stop over for us on a longer trip. It’s very quiet here with some long term and permanent establishments. Everyone is friendly and approachable. It was not very busy when we were there but the pads to seem close to each other so it could get crowded. The only noise issue I had was the train horn in the middle of the night.

Loved it here. Though we didn’t spend much time in the park itself… when we were there is was sooooooo quiet!!

The pads are asphalt and level. Cable was out at our site but didn’t use or want it. Plenty of space between your neighbors who were also super nice!!

Very friendly staff here at RV Resort Four Seasons... but it's no Four Seasons hotel! :D. But I will say, the camp grounds are very well maintained. Every site has grass and they don't want matts put down to ensure that it stays lush and green. Plus they want pads put down as well for jack stands, which makes total sense, even on the asphalt.
Check-in was easy, although they do take a lunch break it appears... we arrived right at the tail end of it so we didn't have to wait too long to get checked in. We were upgraded to a pull through site, which was way better than the back-in site we originally had. Further, we were delayed a day on our arrival and they were very understanding and supportive... no issues whatsoever!
The pull-through site we were stationed was very long... easily 60ft. We are kinda stacked close to neighbors but it wasn't a problem and everyone around us was super nice.
Something to be aware of, the facility is pet friendly, but only if you have certain breeds of dog. We discovered (fortunately) that they do not allow German Shepherd Dogs as well as other breeds. I get it... it's unfortunate, but I get it. I just want people to be aware that if you're coming here with pets, check with them to be sure that your breed of dog is welcome.
Overall, this is a great location and RV Park and we'd certainly stay here again when we come back to Walla Walla.

This is our second time staying here and we are never Disappointed!! Pads and sites are easy to back into and the trees protect you from the heavy winds. Rangers are always patrolling which made us feel even more safe. The beaches are shamazing!! We let the dogs run wild, even though they’re supposed to be on a 6’ leader. Facilities are great and well maintained.

We are planning on returning in the summer next time!!

I recently stayed at Scenic Beach State Park from October 6th to 9th, and I had a wonderful time. The pull-through campsite was spacious and surrounded by trees, and the people were very respectful of quiet hours. Generators are permitted to run from 0800 to 2100, which was helpful for charging our RV batteries.

The beach is very small and faces easterly, so the sun sets are hidden by the trees and the Olympic Mountains. However, the park has excellent hiking trails, and we enjoyed exploring the area on foot.

There are no hookups at Scenic Beach State Park, but potable water is available at various spigots throughout the park. There is also a dump site for $5.00.

Overall, I highly recommend Scenic Beach State Park to campers who are looking for a quiet and scenic place to stay. The park is well-maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Pros:

Spacious campsites surrounded by trees
People are respectful of quiet hours
Generators are permitted to run from 0800 to 2100
Excellent hiking trails in the area
Potable water is available at various spigots throughout the park
Dump site available for $5.00

Cons:

The beach is very small and faces easterly, so the sun sets are hidden by the trees and the Olympic Mountains.
No hookups at the campsites
Tips:

Bring plenty of water and firewood. There is a general store close to the park but they do not sell firewood.
Be sure to check the tide tables before going to the beach, as the beach is very small at high tide.
Wear sturdy shoes for hiking, as the trails can be rocky.

This is a primitive camp sight and not for larger rigs. I’ve got a 30’ LOA travel trailer and 22’ Tow vehicle and I will say it was tight. Doable, but tight. The site we had was a pull through but due to the turn, we backed it in. It was just easier. The site is dirt and mostly level. Good fire pit and table. The way it set up the pit and table are to the right side of the rig. We were under trees that cave us good shade but impeed our solar panels from charging the batteries causing us to run the generator for a period of time. I hate having to do that in such a quiet place.

The campground accepts reservations for a certain time of the year the remainder is FCFS so check the Recreation.gov site well in advance.

The bathroom was clean and plenty of trash bins around the camp site.

The lake is amazing!! Plus there is a general store that is stocked with the necessities and extremely over priced.

Not a lot of options in Bellingham. We were there for Western Washington University parent weekend and decided to bring the RV vs stay at a hotel. He park itself is located at the end of the Bellingham International Airport runway. Every site is a pull-thru, 15-30-50 amp with full hookups. I did notice that my sites water pressure was at 40psi via the 60 I typically see. Didn’t impact the stay, just thought people should know. The spaces are very tight. Your right on top of your neighbors. Plus there a lot of long term RVs there in the park.

It is a well maintained facility. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We couldn’t go into the store (COVID-19) and we didn’t need to use their facilities.

All in all it was a good location to the University and it served its purpose.

This is a lovely campsite and I would stay here again. There are three tiers to the site and I was in the middle tier. If you want to be closer to the lake, take the lower tier. The sites themselves seem to be configured backward. My campers set up for the main out door area to be on the right side of the camper with utilities being on the left. Camp sites accommodate this by having the site orientate to this type of configuration. Not here. The site table and fire pit are on the left, so my awning opened into the trees.

As for Bass Lake... kinda disappointing to be honest. Apparently PG&E drains the lake to support snow run off. So it was a little stinky... like low tide stink.

Over all, it's a great site. I was able to run my generator from 0600 - 2200... I probably could have run it 24x7 if I really wanted to, given I was the only person in the entire site.

Most of the staff here were very friendly and helpful. The site itself has a stunning view of the lake. The pads are set up kinda screwy in that the power is on the starboard side of the camper, but here is an outlet on the normal port side. Just took a bit to understand how it all connected. The wind does kick up here so be sure things are secured while in camp and away.

Some awesome hikes all around the location and it's super close to the dam. We recommend doing the Train Tunnel hike which is about a 4 mile one way hike utilizing the old train system that was used to build the dam. Bring WATER!

The only reason I didn't give this a five star had to do with a package I had sent to the facility, which contained my CPAP. Kinda need that. First, they said I couldn't have anything mailed to the facility... then they said okay. Then when the package arrived, the sent it back. When we inquired about this, they said we couldn't have packages sent to us. OMG.. so frustrating.

Over all, it's a good camp site. Pads are far enough apart... good water pressure.

Fairly straightforward KOA that has excellent access to the town of Winthrop & Twisp Also good home base for the N. Cascade NP. It was a very busy weekend and the nose level was through the roof. Both nights this group across from me was up drunk as all get out and having overly loud conversations until midnight. I get the family get togethers are fun but have a little respect.

Sites are great and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

This KOA is right on the Metheo River that at this time was moving quite rapidly. I wouldn’t get close to it.

No cable hook ups and their WiFi is awful. Cell service is also not great. Bring books because streaming is probably not gonna happen.
