Nicely wooded older park. Sites vary from rustic spots I would be upset to find at a cheap state park to some modern patio spots very close together. Bathrooms were remodeled but in horrible shape with dirty showers with luke warm water, broken latches on many showers and toilets so you were exposed while using. I dreaded using these facilities. We paid $87 a night ( including $10/day resort fee) for a horrible un-level spot (177) that had a shared pole where someone else had used the 30amp I needed. Luckily I had a connection to use 50 amp receptacles but if not the park would only offered to sell me one ($40) when I complained. I asked what if I had a 50 amp big rig and only available was 30amp?Per to staff only option would be to upgrade to more expensive site if available or constantly reset the breaker if/when you went over 30amp. We could not use the sewer connection as unfortunately our sewage does not flow uphill. This vacation spot was an area we had never been to but after seeing Myrtle Beach with run down shops, 1-3 star hotels, and mostly 3 star (marginal) restaurants we will never return. This KOA is way way overpriced for what you get and I would say only use if you don’t mind the price gouging , only reserve one of the newer patio sites, and like to stay at this low rent and marginal vacation destination. The one positive was we could easily walk to beach and 1-2 decent places to eat. And the staff were very friendly even when telling me what I did not want to hear about what I got for $87/night. Never returning.

Amazing state park near a gorgeous white sand beach. One of the nicest state parks we have ever visited. Even had good WiFi which is rare for a state park. Facilities are great. The had clean and modern bathrooms with showers. A camp store including bike rentals (for riding the amazing paved bike/hiking trails), a Nature Center, restaurant, butterfly garden, and a lodge run by major hotel chain. You need a car or bike to access all the facilities, but there is also a shuttle that travels during the day to various parts of the park. This is a place to come and stay for a while. We were sad to leave after only 2 nights. But we will be back and bring our bikes. The daily rate may seem high for a state park but I have to say it is worth it and better than most private RV parks that charge similar or higher rates.

Great secluded park located on lake. We had view of lake. Quiet getaway with decent spots and very nice bathrooms and showers. Nice lawn with chairs along the lake. Great bird watching and saw a number of people fishing. Good hiking trails. Quiet spot to rest along your journey or to stay awhile.

Great secluded state park right on a lake. Nicely wooded spots with power and water. We had a view of lake. Bathrooms were nicer and cleaner than typical for a state park in my experience. Daily rate for my RV was $16 + $7 for utilities along with one time $6.70 reservation fee. Nice spots to sit and relax by the lake. Great bird watching and saw a number of people fishing from shore and in smaller boats. Nicely maintained wilderness trails but don’t think they would be good for biking. Very quiet and peaceful place to stop. We will stay again in the future. Cell coverage using TMobile was very poor with only an occasional hit with one bar. I also have a hot spot using ATT that had some coverage (LTE with about 2 bars).

Great camping/vacation resort. Not ce campsites with full hookups including cable tv. They have camp store, laundry, showers, bathrooms, pools for families and kids, lake with rental paddle boats, bar and grill. The only downside for me is the music at the lakeside bar was so loud that we could hardly hear each other. I like music but not at ear splitting volume.

Amazing park near a very fun small touristy town about 12 minute bike ride with some serious hills though. Sites are nice. Bathrooms are amazing, clean and very functional. The camp site and office is great with all kinds of things you may need or want. Fantastic local ice cream. Have firewood as well. Play area is great for younger and older kids. Wi-Fi is ok but weak or slow from my experience at site 2. Define get into the town of Bayfield- fun shops and restaurants.
Very nice older park. Sites are good sized. RV sites have electricity but no water. Bathrooms are decent with good hot water. They use a timer so you only have 7 minutes of that hot water and then 5 minutes buffer until next use. There is potable water to fill tanks and a dump station. Nice big park to walk or ride bikes. Has a beach with swimming area on the river.
Very nice park with great sites that have full hookups. Bathrooms are a bit rough but functional with everything you need.
Amazing state park. Right on the water. Spots are close together but well kept with full hookups including power, water, and sewer. Bathrooms are clean with showers and even laundry machines and vending. We definitely want to come back here and can see why it was hard to get reservations.
