The campsites and bath house are fine. The park is really pretty with plenty of areas to walk. It is also a great location close to drive in to Memphis. However, the sewage treatment plant nearby gives off a really unpleasant odor which killed the deal for me. I didn’t smell it the the first day I was there, but the next morning it hit me in the face as soon as I opened my camper door. This camp has good qualities, and if you’re not sensitive to smells, go for it.

This place looked beautiful from the highway, and I was disappointed that it was closed on a beautiful day in early November. It’s open mid May to mid Oct evidently.

This is a great spot on the Mississippi River. It’s very well maintained and clean. Lots of shade trees. The camp host was nice and helpful. I loved it.

My dog and I enjoyed walking the various trails that are accessible from the campground-we didn’t drive the van for three days! Heaven. The campground and restrooms were very clean. I had good cell service with AT&T. Exquisite sunsets. If there were showers it would be darn near perfect!
