Free after labour day. All other campsites around closed but they don’t tell you until you are down a road. A sign at the entry would be held. Anyway Matchless is just a parking lot but worked well for a late pull in. Washrooms clean and all very quiet

This was a pull in late leave early stop. We reserved ahead so papers at front door. Easy level pull thru. Washroom clean.

Arrived at 530. Lots of sites available. $33 for water and electricity. Nice view of river. Site 75 was level. Good for one night as not sure what there is to do therw

Check in quick. First time we have ever had to supply truck insurance papers for camping which we thought was odd. Easy pull in. The only things we didn’t like was our site was dirty with litter and actual rv parts from ????? And it is noisy with road trains and the planes at the airport next door. We were just passing thru so good for one night

Easy check in although some mix up at checkin and our travel partners were put in another persons site but thankfully didn’t have to move. We had a no sewer site which was fine except its along a strip that backs onto a public trail. Our first night our locked mountain bikes had parts stolen. Our next door neighbors bikes were actually stolen. When I mentioned it at the front office all i was told is it happens a lot. I can file a police report if i want First if they fix the fence and plant some bushes or put a privacy fence up it may deter theft. We also noticed random cars driving thru sites. There should be a security check in to stop this. Wifi doesn’t work. No cable and sites were dirty

On the plus side it’s convenient to town hiking and parks

Check in was easy. Super friendly. Helped park our rv. Great recommendations for where to eat…3 finger Jacks. Great Santa fe salad

They only thing we didn’t like was the neighbors sewer hose was under our table and right by our door. Close quarters so no privacy but that being said we spent our time in winthrop anyway

Clean and quiet. Love the escort to our site and the cute puppy picture carved into the sand at our site. Appreciated the free wash station for truck.

Terrible and oddly designed. Our hook ups were on the wrong side of the of the trailer so we asked if we could pull the opposite way into so lines could reach we were told no. So we were 3 ft from neighbors and their sewer line was in our doorway which stunk. The site was level but a mud pit and i don’t think anyone has cleaned this site in ages. We were told that we may get a visit from someone to buy into thousand trails which would be a joke for this campsite. Over priced for what you get. And a long walk to beach

Friendly check in. 7 minute walk to hot springs along a nice path and little sunken garden. The trains weren’t as awful as everyone said. Heard one around 9ish and then one during the night but it was no big deal. Trucks with jack breaks are noisy
