Very clean park with large sites and plenty of them. Plenty of bathrooms! Kind of pricey for just water hookup at $30.

We enjoyed a quiet and free overnight stay. There was a covered area at each site with a picnic table and trash can. Plenty of room at each site. We stayed at the farthest one from the road. Will stay again!

Self check in was a breeze. Clean and well maintained park. Electric and water. Next to fairgrounds so there was horse manure here and there.
Self checkin on Recreation.gov site. Lots of space and nobody here but us! Water and electric for $18. Although the COE campsite location book says this is a first come first serve only and no reservations accepted that was not true. Several sites had a reserved notices on them. We found a spot, and tried to scan the code to schedule our reservation, but it was not working, so I got on the Recreation.gov site. Seems to be very quiet and comfortable.

Great campground. Love the way most sites are set up you feel like you have a little more privacy. Huge lots. A little noisier if you are next to the road by the boat dock but that’s to be expected, this a huge resort area. Would stay again.

Definitely off the beaten path with no hey noise at all. Great view of the mountains and plenty of hiking opportunities. Our host Gene was very friendly. He shares his love of astronomy nightly and shows you the planets through his telescope. I would have loved to stay longer. His vision is a work in progress.
