Stayed here for 3 nights in July 2020. Now under new ownership. No bathrooms available- only 1 port a potty that was too disgusting to use. Electric & water hookups. Previous mgmt had bakery items but no longer.
Owners are nice, friendly Christian people. Very small restaurant for lunch/dinner with very good burgers and tacos. Ice available.
Sites very close together. Lights from fire hall next door shine all night long. Hopefully the new owners will work toward continued improvement in months ahead.

Tried to haul my 17’ Casita up there but elected not to the last 4 miles (it’s a 9 mile dirt road). The road is one lane, and even though i have a high lift kit on my trailer I didn’t think it wise to proceed- too much wear and tear on the rig due to deep ruts. I drove to the top without my trailer and the views are spectacular. Several tent campers there. Definitely want to come back and tent camp 3-4 days.

This park deserves high rankings across the board. Not a bad site in the park. Very generous, level pads with water & electric. Camp hosts are friendly, accommodating. Each site has its own trash can. Gorgeous views. Nice hiking trail. Very clean restrooms with showers. 5 stars for me!

Stayed here 7/28-7/30/20. Campground had 25 sites and amazingly we had park to ourselves each nite. Excellent hiking trails although no trail maps available. We pulled 17’ RV and fit comfortably on a flat pad. Dry camping.
The thing to keep in mind is you must go 7 miles down a rough, washboard, single lane dirt road. Would NOT want to do it during rain. We have 2 wheel drive but 4 wheel preferred. The drive down the dirt road took us 70 minutes in first and second gear.
Campsite #12 included two picnic tables, 2 firerings. Multiple pit toilets nearby. Excellent remote camping experience!

Lot of grassburrs- your doggies need shoes.

Stayed here one night on long road trip. Handy. Even found a shady parking spot. 3 covered picnic tables and trash cans. Nobody else here. Lot of litter about; I picked up 3 garbage bags full.
