Sadly this place was closed when we pulled up at 5:00 pm on Tuesday evening. It looks like so much fun with the multi level outdoor seating overlooking the marina. I guess the blame lies with the ongoing pandemic and lack of workers for this restaurant’s hours of operation. Maybe one day I will be able to journey this way again and stop for a beverage and meal.
This was a great stop! I am very curious as to why this was built in Nashville. Gorgeous and meticulously maintained park surrounds The Parthenon. A guy was playing his sax and the music was bouncing off all that cement and stone. So cool!
As a Catholic, I really enjoyed this gem of a place. A detour through a back country road leads to the sweet shrine. I could have spent 45 minutes or more here walking the grounds and offering prayers. The Mary statue is only on display May (I think) through October. There is also a walking path with stops along the way that are dedicated to decades of the rosary.
My research points to Foster Falls as being the actual name of the falls located near Mont Eagle.
