Awesome!!! We were a little concerned going into a 55+ park but the people have been very welcoming. Huge draw for us is the access to the large acreage across the road for the dogs to run off leash. This place is right on the river so you can fish anytime you want. Always activities planned if you want to find something to do. Only downfalls are no WiFi, hot tub or pool. We came for a month but will be extending our stay.

Staff And Locals Are Awesome People. Huge Off Lease Dog Area Across The Street Fishing On Their Private Docks And So Much More. Highly Recommended.

Pros: Easy to find. Locked gate at night. Super friendly staff. Heated indoor pool. Beautiful new shows/bathrooms. Large laundry area but $3.59 per load. Four areas for your dog to go off leash but they are small. Cons: very noisy area just off the highway. We got very little sleep so only stayed two nights instead of the week like we thought. WiFi was spotty at best and often no service. For the price we thought they’d have better WiFi and perhaps other amenities.

Only ones at the park. Easy in and out. Sadly the bathroom facilities were locked up despite the families utilizing the park.

We would NOT have stayed here had we known as our trailer is currently winterized. (Came from ND)

Perhaps they should take donations to help keep the toilets open.

Only one other camper, easy access. Had a great meal at the Amateurs bar and grill. Only suggestion would be better lighting in the park as I did t feel comfortable walking to the facilities at night.

We were a little skeptical upon reviews but found this a treasure. Yes, we did have to drive through the park to decide on a site but with dozens of choices. We didn’t catch any fish but had an amazing sunset!

First time RVers and we found this location here on Campendium. The most we could get was 5 days as there were a lot of bookings. We backed right into a large lot with a lovely view of the river. I think we paid $35 a day. Lots of locals that come fishing. Only cons are the gates lock so you have to be in the park I think by 10 and there is soooo much garbage everywhere.

Thought it was a nice quiet place till the weekend hit. Guests walking and riding motorcycles threw your camp spots. Dogs(multiple) walking around with no leash. Parties till 3:30 am. And some idiot running his generator all night long. Might be a nice place to stay during the week but avoid at all costs on the weekend.

Wow, I’ll keep it short and simple.
Pros: easy in and out, level location, friendly host, nice shower facilities, local trolley.
Cons: very noisy, gravel lot, No enforcement of rules.

We came on a Thursday (wedding on Saturday) and we were one camper of 5 in a lot that holds 40. Friday night the place filled up, motorcross right next door apparently. Races done by 9:30 so no issue BUT this place was nuts. Kids riding motorcycles right through the campers all evening even when we were sitting outside the camper. Walking through would have been one thing but motorcycles! Dogs off leash. Generators running all night. (States off by 10pm.) People loud and partying outside our bedroom till at least 3:40am.

We had considered staying longer but we will be leaving ASAP.
