Park was nice and clean. Roads inside the campgrounds were paved and well maintained. Site was gravel. Full hook ups and cell services was very good. Site 5 has a extra large area on the campside with some trees. Its great if you have a dog. Also, several times we had deer in this area. This park was totally rebuilt after Hurricane Michael hit the area in 2018, so not a lot of trees near the sites except for the upper site numbers. Check the site length because some sites are small. Some sites at one end are for only tents and Class B and they will not allow trailers or RV to park in them because the road dead ends wo a turnaround. The State Park was very nice and beaches were great. The road in the state park needs to be repaved it has several dips and potholes. The park employees were very nice and check in was very easy. When you leave place the yellow parking tag in the mailbox when check out. We are already planning on returning in 2024.

First time camper and choose this park because it was close to home. We stayed in spot 28 for 2 nights. The spot was very nice with lots of room. The showers/bathroom were near our spot also. The showers were clean, but were a little dated. The Park Rangers were very nice and helpful. We went on the river hike with our 80 pound Golden Ret. and it was very nice, but hot (May in FL). Overall it was a very good trip and we enjoyed our stay and would come back again when it gets a little cooler. Cell service was only 1 to 2 bars AT&T.

Park was nice. Boardwalk from spring to river was a nice. The springs was really nice and refreshing. Water was clear and no browning because of flooding. No manatees were there because it was summer. Campground was clean and site was average. Water/Power/Sewer hookups worked. Although the sewer outlet was above ground and made dumping difficult. Site has low point and would flood and puddle. Luckily it didn't rain during our stay.
Cell service was poor 1 bar on AT&T. Had Weboost that helped and got 3 bars.
Restrooms were good and clean.
Check-In was very easy and ranger was nice.
Firewood was $10.00 per bundle.
Campground road was a little narrow and had some pot holes.

The Springs and Boardwalk are great.

Stayed in Magnolia loop 1 site 3. Be aware when it rains it will flood. We were told this after we set up our rig but it didn't rain during our stay.
Cell service is poor. AT&T 1 bar. With Weboost we got 3 bars.
Our site had full hooksup but the sewer inlet was above ground and it was difficult to dump.
Overall very happy with the campground and park.
