My 2 buddies and I stayed here for three nights in June 2021. It gets pretty cool to straight up cold at night up there on that mountain! We stayed in 21, but 20 has the best view I think. Only trade off is that it’s direct sunlight in that spot, but the view is worth it. Definitely will be back with the family.

Very nice campground. 2 close waterfalls and a lot of hiking trails. Only thing I didn’t like is that they stress bear safety, yet offer no place to clean dishes, and was told to wash them in a bucket and then dump the water away from your campsite?? Isn’t that basically chumming for bears???? They need to add a wash station, I have camped in bear country many times and every time they have a designated spot for campers to wash dishes. Other than that, place is awesome.

We wanted to check out Florida caverns but unfortunately hurricane Michael prevented Any camping for the time we wanted to go, so we decided to check out Falling waters instead.

I would recommend booking an exterior site. That is going to be your best bet at any kind of privacy. My small family and some friends stayed for three nights. My friend had his tent and I had my pop-up camper. when we first got there there was this kid that would sit on the picnic table drinking his Capri Sun and a literally would just stare at me. It’s like he was digging into my soul with his eyeballs. I finally had enough of it, especially when the parents wouldn’t even tell the little kid to stop staring in our direction so I took a huge tarp and we hung it up on some trees to create a wall. I felt bad about doing it, but this family was something out of deliverance, so it only felt bad for about three seconds until I forgot about them on the other side of the tarp and the margaritas started setting in. Little to no privacy on the interior areas.

The other bad thing is that it is a dry county. Bring your own booze or else you are going to be stuck drinking puke Road brewery all weekend long. No liquor stores around in the beer selection is seriously horse piss.

The good things about the park are the bathrooms are super clean and they have family bathrooms. It’s a beautiful area right in the tall pine trees in the waterfall is more impressive than I expected. Everyone who is staying there was extremely nice in the park rangers are extremely cool. The place is also dog friendly. We also went canoeing and found a cool spring which was pretty fun.

This campground overall is pretty nice, and I’d bring my family again if Florida caverns wasn’t available.

Just for pure entertainment value, I highly recommend you go check out karaoke on Saturday night at the local Mexican restaurant called Cancun. Trust me when I tell you, you don’t want to miss that.

My family stayed here just for one night on our way to the Georgia mountains. Had a really good time. Only downfall was that our neighbor next to us literally could not take his eyes off of my wife. I get it dude, she’s definitely attractive, but come on man, when I making straight stares into your face and you can’t stop looking at her take it to a little weird. Other than that, great time !

Place was truly beautiful, the whole surrounding area is awesome. I just don’t know if maybe it was we came on a bad weekend, but the bathrooms are absolutely atrocious. I mean really really bad, to where I thought my wife and I might have to consider using our pop-up campers latrine. Luckily were able to find another bathroom down the street that was a little bit better.
