Perfect lunch stop. There are well marked trails and plenty of shady spots for a picnic. We happened to be coming through when they had a live butterfly exhibit which was really cool too.
Amazing facilities, nicely spaced camping spots and very helpful staff. Over the Falls bus Tours will pick you up from here which makes this an ideal location for both camping and exploring the area.
Great quiet campground. Very shady. Probably not great for longer rigs, but perfect for us. Bring your bug spray/ citronella candles.
Great campground. New pool, recently remodeled bathrooms. Not exactly walking distance to welcome center as advertised since you have to walk on the side of a busy road for about half a mile. Will definitely stay here again to take a horseback ride to the battlefield.
