Lake Carmi State Park is the largest campground in Vermont with a mix of 180 sites, lean-tos, and cabins. Lake Carmi is a controversial lake- its plagued by cyanobacteria. Though the lake can be closed for swimming many hot summer days, you can still kayak and fish. The campground itself is extremely clean.

One of the scariest drives of m life! I ended up moving to Torrey- the northern town- and drove the route at least once a week for fun. Take your time on the S curves, and don't let the FedEx drives going 15 mph over the limit intimidate you
