Pulled in here ok in late April and was so surprised at what this area has to offer. All the spots are well spaces and Include a large fire ring. All are on the water. There are out toilets and down the main road about a mile is a dump station and a park in the small town of Brunneau Idaho with water and trash.
We were able to launch our Sea Eagle fishing kayak right from camp and spend many days fishing on the lake. It's a sportsman paradise and would highly recommend this place!

This was our first visit to Cody Wyoming and we didn’t know anywhere to stay. We arrived at wapiti and was pleasantly surprised. This campground has a combination of first come sights as well as reservable, which is welcoming to those of us that are unfamiliar with areas. There are 40 spots, twenty offer power and 20 do not. We selected a power spot.
The spots are large, spread out, private and offer a balance of sun and shade. There is ample water spigots throughout and one near the fee area that you can hook up to fill your tanks. The vault toilet are well maintained and stocked. The host is very helpful knows a lot, done a lot and is friendly to speak to. The Shoshone river is easy to walk to from camp and if you love to fish this is your place. The river is large and beautiful and fish galore! The north entrance to Yellowstone is 55 up the canyon and the north side of the park was splendid at sunrise and wildlife was active and plentiful. If you ever make it to Cody make sure to stay here I think you’ll be happy with this place.

We decided to try Bully Creek at the last moment and so glad we did. You can drive through the campground and select a site then register at the office. It is self serve and the sites that are available on in an envelope holder and the sites that are reserved are in another. Easy to register but you must pay cash. There is an RV dump and potable water. Flush toilets and showers, fairly level spots, fire rings and picnic tables. many sites overlook the reservoir and there is grass all around as well. So peaceful and quiet. We loved it here and think you will too. If you can’t get cell service, walk down by the boat ramp we were able to get 1 bar.

Having never been here before I was quite surprised to find that you must check in at noon prior to going directly to your reserved spot, seems to be a bit micro managed. You also have to make a reservation for the outdated RV dump with the hosts. This park is heavily used and the spots are very misleading with their description of what can actually fit in the driveway. Most tow vehicles are parked wonky in each spot just to fit in. Spots are very close together and offer little privacy. The water spigots are only located at the bathrooms. Price is extremely high for what you get.

I appreciate the hard work the owners and staff do everyday to keep this place in top shape. This is a nice park and offers everything one would need while visiting the area. Pool, spa, laundry, bathroom, showers, nice level spots, a selection of items to purchase in the small store if you need something. You can have mail or packages sent it and they have staff on site all the time. I would highly recommend staying here. It’s convenient to everything including a short 20 minute drive to Las Vegas and the strip. Lots of hiking and bike trails and entrance to Lake Mead and a visit to Hoover Dam and the Colorado river.
Put this place on your next stop over.
