Fisher folks came and went through the day. Only one other camper. Vault latrines were clean, no cell, great spot if visiting Tippet Rise Arts Center.

Perfect for as night’s pullover along 191, and a leisurely day’s drive from Goblin Valley. Nice stone fire pit at the spot we chose - a flat wide spot at the second left drive. It’s a little over 8,000 ft, so the late September night was frosty, but sun hit the camper by 8am. Super quiet!

We normally boondock or dry camp but ended up needed a CG with power when our propane heater went kaput. This worked - just not my style of camping. I was grateful no generators were allowed. Surprisingly quiet for a fairly full campground. Not a lot of privacy in the AZ desert, but nice walks through the saguaro forests. Again, trails were busy except in river washes. Good birding. 30 minutes to any conveniences.

Small campground 6 miles outside Sumpter, along the McCully Fork River. Just off the highway, but even on Labor Day, quiet. 7 sites in the fee area are roomy, and lots of dispersed camping on up the road. Sites are close together, but it didn't deter from a peaceful experience. Easy access to Sumpter Dredge S.P. and Elkorn Scenic Drive/trails. We went to explore area and attend In a Landscape concert (https://www.inalandscape.org/). Recommend hike to Crawfish Lake. Excellent AT&T service in Sumpter, but none at campground. Will definitely be returning.

So clean, so convenient, so grateful for this easy access pull-through for a night. $10 for dry camping. Quiet, with sparkly clean bathrooms. A welcome respite in an area without a lot of choices. AT&T 5G

The northern tip of the Great Basin - interesting to learn how the dunes formed in this unlikely place. The S.P. touts dark skies and quiet camping, but one requires a vivid imagination to block out the glow of Boise city lights and the fighter jets from the nearby base passing overhead every 90 seconds until nearly midnight. Sites are very clean, as was bathroom. Park was not full, thankfully, because spots are fairly tight. Not sure we’d rent the sand sleds again - even with waxing, they didn’t exactly fly. Staff at the info center was lackluster. Probably won’t come again

We had medical appointments that spanned 2 days and needed easy access with electrical and wifi. This met that bar. Lots of long-timers, but park was quiet, bathrooms were heated and clean, park attendant very pleasant. We took the good advice to be toward the back and away from busy Government Way. Our heater fan also worked to dull any outside noise. Not our typical choice when camping, but grateful they were operating in March and had space. Always better than a hotel!

Lucky to get the last spot late in the day. Dry camping only. After a few nights of dusty dispersed camping, the level paved spot, readily available water, and flush toilets in the ponderosa forest was worth $10. Host Sandy runs a tight ship - keeps the place clean. A few big RVs had their generators going, but stopped them at night so we could all enjoy the quiet. Sketchy 1 bar ATT LTE, so don’t count on connectivity.

Close walk to beach (across highway) and all the typical amenities of a CA state park. Friendly host who delivered firewood if asked. Perfectly fine for overnight traveling up the coast. EV charging station. No ATT service,
