NO camping gate closed and locked!!!

It was a little wet when we stayed there but still a very nice place. If following your GPS do not go to the last driveway turn in the first driveway a lot higher ground. Thank you Fort Sumner for your hospitality.

Directions on Google were right, on coming from the east we excited on 288 turn right onto 22 went about four 4 1/2 miles and then you will see a moon lake sign you turn south and go about 4 1/2 / 5 miles and you will see the camping area on your left.

You must book online it says someone will show you where to park when you get there, but there is no one there not sure if he even has to pay because I don’t believe anybody checked if you paid or not. When you do book online they charge you a fee for booking online so it ends up being $16.75 instead of the $13.00 that they claim it is. Bathrooms were so so, not the cleanest.

Do what other reviews say go down to employee parking, lots of room. Just need to call when you get to lot and let them know you’re there. (Number on sign) Very nice lady. Just remember pack in, pack out and leave it better than you found it.😊

Thank you to the town of Guymon. Nice to have a place to pull in for the night. It needs a little TLC but doable.

The GPS detection are totally wrong. Get off at exit 156 go a little west than north on the frontage road about five or six miles you will see a sign for San Lorenzo Canyon, follow sign to the left until you see the next sign that turns to your right, follow back to the end of the canyon about four or five miles total it will dead end.
Road is wash board but still a good road, you can do in car easy. Will accommodate big and small rigs.

We came in very late so we my have made a wrong turn but still found a nice site. When you get to the sign I believe you are to turn LEFT but we went straight, if you do this there is still campsites, one with just a fire pit, but if you keep going there are other places to park. But if you cross the bridge and go about 1/2 mile down and turn to the right there is a site with a bathroom.
When we came there was a herd of horses. In the morning there was a herd of sheep, and two horses that came to get water.
No cell service!

A nice place to stay near west entrance of Yellowstone. Appears to be used by hunters in the fall so the area that you drive around has very deep ruts, just be aware. Other than that very nice place to stay. No facilities.

We only stayed in the parking lot, because we only had small car and didn’t want to adventure down the road, the parking lot is large and said you could camp after April 30th. You are by the road so you do hear road noise, but died down early. No Facilities.
