This little campground has level gravel sites albeit narrow. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The laundry and showers are clean. They hosts provide propane grills for use and have occasional group fires. It is very quiet. There is a huge dog walking field and an excellent dog washing area that we did not use because we have no dog. The staff shows you to your site and helps you set up if you want. Definitely would stay again if we are in the area.

Very friendly staff. Nice level gravel sites that are wooded and have picnic tables and fire rings. The showers/restrooms are clean. There is a nice playground and pool, although the pool was not open while we were here because it was too early. Downtown is great for shopping and dining. There is a trolley that takes you anywhere and it stops right at the campground. There is also a nice quarter mile hiking trail around the campground. Wood and propane available.

This very small campground features only 6 sites. The place is very clean and has the best shower in any campground we have stayed at. Owners are very friendly and helpful. I did not rate this a five because the road in is very rough and the river is mostly dried up. None of this is the owners fault. The wildlife is excellent. There are deer in the park every morning and evening. Dozens of species of birds. Many other animals if you just look. Not a quiet park only because of wildlife sounds purchase groceries before coming to Bandera to save money. If you like nature this campground is excellent.

We called a week earlier and we’re pleased there was a spot. It is very convenient off of I10. Even though it is close to the highway there was not much noise. We were given a goodie bag and shown to our campsite. We were excited by the pool which looked very clean, but it is not heated and too cold for our bodies. Restrooms and showers very very clean. Laundry was good but a bit small for a campground this size. We stayed a week and there were three windy days. It is on a hilltop. There is much to do in Fort Stockton. Owner here is very friendly.

We came for the Fourth of July and reserved a spot but it was not full hook up. Even on the fourth they moved us to a full hook up site. This place has clean restrooms and showers (25 cents) scattered throughout the park. There are two swimming pond and a swimming pool. There is mini golf, a jumping pillow, fishing, and many other amenities. It is a beautiful and well kept property. The sites are spacious and pretty level. The only drawback is that WI-FI is very spotty and phone service not good.

I can’t add much to the other reviews. The pool was clean but it was too cold to use it. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Gravel pull through site was level and spacious. Staff was friendly, even sending a confirmation email to me 2 days before arrival. Laundry facilities are in clubhouse which is large and comfortable. Price reflects a AAA discount.

First the good. The hosts are very helpful. They maintain the grounds well. There is a 30 amp side and a 50 amp side. We stayed on the 30 amp side. The pull through sites not big but the gravel is level. There is a pool but it was too early in the season for it to be open. Nice outside furniture. The bathroom/ showers were clean and nice. The laundry is only in the ladies room but is on the honor system.
The bad. The water is not good. It might be because the park just opened for year but there was so much iron in the water that it smelled. Even though we have a filter on the spigot we filter drinking water in a filter pitcher. Both were clogged so bad we could not use them. We purchased drinking water. The highway is right next door so it is also noisy. There is also a train track next door as well.
This is a 4 star campground if they can fix the water.

Very friendly campground about 20 minutes out of the city. Still close enough to do everything the city offered. Only one shower but it was clean. Only one washer and dryer but convenient and also clean. Nice room with pool table and air hockey. Wood available. Very friendly and helpful staff. We don’t really use it but WI-FI was not good. Looks like they are working on improvements. Mostly Level back in site

This small park has very level, just big enough sites. The gravel sites are easy to back into. The office area has a huge tv viewing area and is homey. There is also a laundry on the honor system and a restroom/ shower room. The restroom was not clean and the office is not manned. Campground is located near many interesting attractions.

We stayed for a week. The sites rockery are very level and full hook up. We unfortunately were given a spot across the street from the showers and laundry. We had to go to four business before we found anyone with quarters to do laundry. Only 3 washers and 2 dryers. Showers were clean and good. Only on small grocery in town. Van Horn is close enough to 3 national parks although big bend is 2.5 hours away. Friendly staff. Good Wi-Fi.
