Great campground. Excellent staff. Hikes are great. Waterfalls are beautiful. Many campsites back up to woods. Definitely come into the park from the south! We recommend this park.
We arrived at dusk after a white knuckle drive on highway 30. Definitely better to drive in from the south! Definitely don’t chose site 65 unless you have a really small camper and no fear. The staff were great helping us get that site replaced with a more suitable site.

Arrived during a Tornado Watch. Park staff had weather warning and information at each site. Very helpful.
Sites were large, easy to back into and spaced generously apart.
Would absolutely recommend.

We arrived on a Thursday in May. It’s a beautiful setting and the hiking is great! The campground is crowded unless you’re on an outside ring.
We loved it until it filled up on Friday night when young boys started riding their bikes through our site and the dog next door started barking and barking. There doesn’t seem to be a campground host.
