The smell of cow manure from the local farms is so bad, but I’m considering not staying here… But unfortunately the sun has set and I must stop after 14 hours of driving. I see one other truck camper here, I guess after a while you become nose blind.
Also there was a loud train track just be on the lake…
We arrived after dark so it’s hard to tell what the hiking and such is like. But I can tell you the bugs near the lake are thick. And this is in April. The bathrooms at the Cedar point campground are old, which I can overlook. But they are also dirty and not maintained too well. I would stay here it again if I had to, but for a $30 fee I would expect the facilities to be nicer.

Nice little park along the lake, with a beautiful sunset location. Grassy pull through spots as well as campfire rings and picnic tables. Old but clean facilities including a shower and flush toilet. Dump station. And a playground for kids. I think this is a hidden little gem along interstate 90. Takes about 6 to 8 minutes to get there from the interstate a gravel road.

I rolled in late last night, during a large storm. I self registered at the box and they were plenty of open spots at this time of year. Everything was great and as you would expect. The bathhouse was in really good shape and very clean. The next morning I spoke with the camp hosts who were very sweet. I would stay here again.
