We were going to stay at another place and felt it was just too hard to get into. So we thought we’d give this place a try. SOOO glad we did. Easy to get to just off the road, tucked away in a nice valley with a creek. Staff super friendly and the BEST, hands down, the BEST shower we have seen yet. Internet is good enough to stream, but they have a lodge house with TV, games, etc. On weekends they have music - wish we could have experience this too. The variety of types of sites is really cool as well. RV w/ hookups, tents, tent platforms, cabins, themed trailer, rustic cabin w/ RV, etc. Laundry too! Definitely keeping on the list for a return visit! Close to all the action in Fayetteville and they have a huge list of recommendations - including rainy day activities!!!

What a lovely campground. Neighborhood not that sketchy, but yes, run down. The bathrooms were very nice, but could use a bit more cleaning. The showers were HUGE! Took a bit for the water to get hot, the shower handle fell off as well, but still usable. We REALLY needed to use the washing machines, but all of them were broken. Frustrating. The wind changed and we got the full force of the sewage treatment plant next door. Hubby can’t smell well so it didn’t bother him. It made me sick. Doubt we will ever stay here again. Then the cost, $5 reservation fee, on top of the $29, on top of the taxes….

Some road rapids coming in. 24’ rig easily made it. Well off the road and no one here Memorial Day weekend! Garbage scattered around. Used for target practice... otherwise beautiful area.

Drove in all n dry road, some rough spots, but well graveled. Stopped at first designated campsite. Swamp across the road heard possible gators and many birds. Poison ivy nearby so be careful. In a large rig 24’ could hear some highway noise. Cell service good for Verizon.

No top of the point, easy access for big rigs, lots of sites and spaced out. Windy YES! Views AWESOME! Price PERFECT! Yea there’s a pit toilet and it can be dusty, but it’s cheap and close to the city. Maximum stay 2 nights.

I would only camp here on weekdays. We were here on Sat June 27, 2020. We managed to back in between two trucks... it was very overcrowded and one almost full toolset was disturbing. No water, no sanitizers and 100s of people with families with LOTS of kids running around. The place was jammed with huge campers and pop ups. Many tents were jammed into the surrounding fields and any open space. It was obvious that there was a LOT of drinking going on, party hollering and stumbling drunk young adults were observed. Beautiful views and needing a place to camp made this our only choice as all campgrounds were full. I would not stay here again on a weekend.

Paved flat sites! Lake nearby. Full hook ups or partial. Worth the trip in. Lots of big rigs here. Boating, fishing, swimming and services. Call ahead if concerned! Super friendly! Definitely a winner!!

California trail, right along the river. Multiple sites, open camping. Right above the river and great signage about the history and geology. Download the California Trail Center app to learn more! No toilets. No water. Great site!

After a week boondocking we needed water, shower, and clean clothes… showers/bathrooms are super clean, laundry equipment newer (bring your own soap)! Friendly easy check in. Spaces are not large… packed in with other large campers… could hear everything going on next door… wish we were spaced out more. Internet worked for us 6.8 down. Train came through blowing its horn about 3 AM… Water is good so we loaded up. Heading out again for some wide open spaces…

Great hide away in Nevada. We hike the trails and enjoyed the day use park above camp. Lots of birds in the fruit trees and hanging at the spring was great in the heat of the day.

Partial hook ups was great, sadly the lights on the posts were on all night… too bright, had to cover ours. We were till Friday on Memorial Day weekend. We were going to stay one more night but……

First night was excellent… Then the neighbors moved in, crowded into 3 sites, trailers, tents, vehicles of all types showed up. Then the smoking, drinking, pot smoking, large fires and VERY LOUD VOICES… even at 3 AM they didn’t respect any of the rules. The ranger was overwhelmed and likely feared a confrontation. People like this ruin campgrounds. We did report them, but we left. Hope to not run into this again.
