Great place to stay if you’re looking to go to White Sands National Park. Gate was open and there was only a few other RVs there. Good amount of room for any size rig right on the lake. Ground was relatively easy to level our rig with no blocks.

Be aware getting in the gate can be a little tricky in a long rig. We have a 45ft 5th wheel being pulled by a dually and we made it. We were coming from Alamogordo and just had to swing very wide to get in and had a little tail drag. It may be easier from other direction, not positive though. Would advise getting there while still light out so you can see better.

It was very windy during our stay which seems to be common for the area. We just faced the rig so we weren’t broadside to the wind.

Will definitely stay here again. The AFB noise didn’t bother us and we didn’t smell any odors coming off the lake.

Stayed here as a base to visit Traverse City and Sleeping Bears Dunes National Lakeshore. Conveniently located to both places.

Grounds were clean and well kept. Not many people camped here so plenty of room and not noisy. Camp host was super friendly!

Like others have said the outside sites have water, all sites have electrical hookups, dump station on site, bathhouse (I didn’t use), and a dumpster on site. Easy satellite connection and Verizon had plenty of speed.

Plenty of room for big rigs. We have a 42 ft RV and it easy to back into sites and maneuver around.

Definitely would stay again.

This is a 55 and over retirement village with some RV spots scatter throughout. We stayed in spot 135 with our 42 ft 5th wheel. This spot was absolutely awesome. Easy in and relatively easy out. They take cash only and had full hookups. There are some spots near the road which would be better for smaller RVs but they would be a bit noisier due to the road noise. They have no other facilities (laundry, bathrooms, etc) and no WiFi. We dealt with “Dee” and she was easy to work with and we had no issues. Beyond being quiet the other nice factor was it was a relatively close walk to the town square.

We stayed one night on our way through the area. It was easy access off I-90. We are in a 42’ 5th wheel and had no problems. They have approximately 8 sites but the water and electric are located at 3 spots so you would need an extension cord if you are a bit away from where the post is. Sewer is at every site. There is a dump located at the front of the park that could be used for $5 if you didn’t camp here. The camp sites are located in a small town park that was quite nice with a few playground pieces and some green space. There is also WiFi and it is reasonably fast and can support Hulu or YouTube. We called ahead and the camp host was very responsive and helpful. Nice place for an overnight or a few nights if you had something to do in the area.

The expo center offered 30 amp hookups and water at each site. There was a dump station on the property that was easy to use.

Very quiet, well maintained park. They had a pavilion on site as well as rest rooms with shower facilities. Did not hear any noise from the road. Not far from Grand Rapids.

At the time of year we went we were the only campers. Office staff was friendly.

We have a 42 ft 5th wheel and had no trouble maneuvering around. We would definitely stay again!

Very impressed with this park and would definitely stay again. They do charge per person, so our rate was $25 a night for a party of 2 (no limit on power or water consumption). This park was clean, had great amenities, friendly office staff, and friendly residents. This park looked to be more of a 55 and over community and more long term RVers. The long sites and wide streets were more than adequate to fit our 42 foot 5th wheel. They have some pull through spots, ours was a back in spot. The office staff was great and upon our request moved us to a new site so we could have the sewer hookups and electric on the correct side of our rig. They had shuffle board, horseshoes, heated pool and hot tub, bath houses, community room, a dog park, and laundry mat on site. The place was kept immaculate. Not far from Valley of the Fire, Lake Mead, and not far to drive into Las Vegas. In addition, we arrived very early and they had a nice large gravel lot we parked in until our spot was open. The office staff even advised we could drop our rig there and head out to explore. There is a nice large grocery store, gas station, and hardware store within walking distance of the park. We didn't have much trouble with the park wifi and were able to watch Netflix and YouTube with no problems.
