Our first time to Myrtle Beach. The sites were snug. Great beach front access. Indoor pool was open. Store had lots of options.
Two minor complaints: crazy large speed humps and no security regarding packages.

We stopped on our way to Indiana for just one night. The location had sites for big rigs and lots of openings in addition to their seasonal sites. Large pool, new place ground and two dog parks for different sized dogs.
We used RPI to book our site.

Campground itself was busy all weekend long. The restaurant featured local bands Friday and Saturday nights. The bar/restaurant seemed to be a bit chaotic from being closed during Covid. Showers weren’t busy but needed some attention on pressure and draining. Plenty of hot water. Pool was well kept.
Overall, spaces were very close together which hindered relaxation. Friends tent camped as well with a nice site nearby.

We didn’t originally book this site because the week day rate was $30 per night, leading us to believe that it was too cheap to be called a resort. After staying at another nearby campground and having zero cell service, we took a drive up here and were floored!!! Not only were sites available, but we had 3-4 bars of Sprint service and our AT&T hotspot had a minimum of 2 bars. The sites are large with privacy between most sites on the hill. Restrooms were clean and had lots of hot water! Prices stayed low, even on weekends ($55 nightly) due to covid. We opted to stay another day because it was so nice! My husband even found private Fly fishing lessons near by! We will be back!!
Roads are curvy on the way in but well paved and marked.

We arrived at 1 am due to weather and our work schedules. The night guard showed us to our site and made sure we were settled in! The sites were huge!!!! The lake offered beaches and games. The pool was very clean with lots of lounge chairs. This park was clean! They had trash service that came to your site twice daily! We will be back!
It was about 25 minutes to Assateague Island and 30 minutes to the boardwalk in Ocean City, MD!

We live locally. We were impressed by the size and cleanliness of this park. We stayed in the lower area. The bathrooms and showers were extremely clean and well lit. By far the best shower houses we’ve experienced!! There are 2 pools that do get crowded. Also available are mini golf, shuffle board, sand volleyball, lakes for swimming and fishing. Each site had a nice campfire ring and grate for grilling.

This was a beautiful campground with a lot of potential. When we arrived, we found the Rv sites, on top of a hill. This hill would be very difficult for large rigs. There were 6 spots and NONE were even close to being level. We did our best to maneuver but ultimately we couldn’t get close to level. Our refrigerator and AC in the RV was finicky because of this. The bathhouses have been recently made and were SPACIOUS!!! However there was NO hot water in the women’s showers. I ended up using the men’s the second day which was quite lovely. I did inform the women working in the outfitters shop and they had no idea of the water issue.
The RV hook ups have just been added and work great.
Also, this location has a lovely pool, hot tub & saloon. The saloon was never opened during the three days/two nights we stayed. We only saw one other family on this very large property. It was very quiet, but almost too quiet.
It’s a shame that this campground was like a ghost town. It has a lot of potential!

Although camping was peaceful under the stars and fun with friends that joined us, there were some major pitfalls. There is zero cell reception for any service. We have to work while we travel so we had to leave each day to get cell service. The pool was cool and refreshing on the hot summer days. We selected this campground because it offered tent, pop up and rv camping together however the rv site was NOT really rv- friendly. Impossible to get level. The tent sites were rocky and not level. One water line ran for several sites so it had to shared. The bathhouse was close but 2 of 6 showers had lights and no hot water on our last day. Many times bathrooms were in Need of paper or soap.
